       Other Temporary Meeting Changes and Cancellations:

      The following changes that have been communicated by groups for schedule changes due to location, conflicts on and around major holidays, or weather.  However, the information may be incomplete or subject to change.  Please check back for updates. 

      • Thurs 3/19 and 4/9/20 – Allentown family group meetings cancelled due to church activities.
      • Effective immediately, the Thursday Bethlehem group (at Oasis Center) has disbanded.
      • Starting Mar 3, Easton group has a new meeting location. Bethel Memorial Baptist Church  715 Chestnut Lane, Easton Pa 18045
      • Starting Feb 4, a new Family group meeting has opened in Honey Brook, PA (Chester County). Meets 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 7 pm. Honey Brook Presbyterian Church, 4331 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, PA. Second floor in prayer chapel.
      • Wallingford Friday Narateen has disbanded due to lack of attendance.
      • Starting Wed, March 4, Doylestown will move to a new location: Peace Valley Recovery Center, 5230 York Rd., Doylestown, PA    Take stairs to 2nd floor entrance, back of building. No handicap access.  Overflow parking available next door.
      • Tamaqua has a new time: 7-8:15 pm.
      • Starting December 12, Jonestown start time moves 30 min earlier to 6:30 pm.
      • Nazareth is temporarily on hold while looking for a new location.

      Come, "Find a Meeting".  

      In the NAR-ANON program, we learn that drug addiction is a disease that we are not responsible for.  The drug user needs help and so do we.  We discovered many of our efforts to control or change the situation were often actually enabling or encouraging this person to continue a self-destructive pattern.  It has been a great relief to learn more effective ways of coping with this situation, while at the same time gaining some peace of mind, hope, and help for a better way to live.

      You will hear others, who are going through similar problems, talk about how they cope and find recovery.

      NAR-ANON can bring new insight about our attitudes, behavior and emotions.  It can be the source for regaining our own sanity and well-being.  We learn that addiction is a family disease and we need recovery too.

      There are no charges or obligations as NAR-ANON is a non-profit organization.  We are not affiliated with any treatment program or hospitals and do not discriminate about any persons race, creed, sexual orientation, religion or lack of religion.  The weekly meetings are held regularly throughout the year.  Your attendance is welcomed without prior arrangements.  You will not be urged to participate in the group discussions, but may join in if you wish or ask questions before and after the meeting.

      We do UNDERSTAND how you feel.
